We’ve just been back from a vacation to Hawaii, and it was raining heavily on and off for a couple of days in Honolulu. Staying cozy in the hotel, I took the opportunity to tell the kids a little about rain and how it helps with trees, plants, insects and the environment etc., and also taught them to remember keeping themselves dry and warm with umbrella, wearing rain coat and rain boot, or taking shelter when needed.

Rio (The Movie) Coloring Pages
I was in the process of preparing some handwriting practice worksheets and my daughter happened to watch the Rio animated movie again and asked me to print her some Rio coloring pages. She liked all the characters in that movie, so here they are. Hopefully, your kids love those, too. By the way, although Blue (the bird) is really blue in the move, encourage your kids to try giving it different colors and make it colorful. Using only blue and gray for the bird is pretty challenging. You can also ask the kids to colors different versions, one blue and one colorful.

Angel Coloring Pages
To celebrate the holiday and holy season, let’s tell the kids stories about angels and show them some angel coloring pages. Be prepared to answer some unexpected questions such as why angels have wings and can fly but people don’t and whether angels are real. At least that’s what my daughter has asked. A-Z Uppercase Lowercase Letter Tracing Worksheets
Learning the ABC and practice writing the alphabet is among the very first things that kids spend a lot of time with teachers and parents exploring, teaching and learning together. At this very early age, learning should be experienced through playing, practicing and repeating to make the whole process fun and easy for kids to absorb and remember.
In previous posts, I presented a lot of alphabet coloring pages to help kids recognize all the letters from A-Z through coloring activities with both uppercase and lowercase letters. In this post, I’m introducing to you series of alphabet manuscript tracing worksheets. Happy playing & learning!
