Kids will learn about naming, recognizing, tracing and coloring basic shapes like circles, squares, rectangles, ovals, diamond (rhombus) and a little harder shapes like star, crescent, pentagon, hexagon, octagon etc.
While teaching about shapes, I’d suggest that in addition to using these worksheets, you should also look at things around the house (table, chairs, windows, doors, etc.) and ask your kids to name the shapes that they see.
