I’ve had various posts about learning the alphabet from coloring activities to tracing and handwriting practice sheets. Through observation and playing with my kids, I’ve come to realize that kids can get excited about new things quickly (learning the Alphabet in this case), but that excitement and the initial level of engagement can’t last long unless we can keep introducing some sort of new element to the materials every time. That’s why I’m introducing a series of coloring and handwriting practices for each letter in the alphabet in addition to the existing materials found in this subject, starting with letter A, of course!
In my latest post Cookie coloring pages, I’ve posted some Cookie Monster coloring pictures. Since then, my kids asked for more Cookie Monster images to make some sort of a book of Sesame Street characters. So this is for their little project of their own, and for your little one.
Although I have different posts about Elmo coloring pictures, and Big Bird coloring sheets, I’ve just realized that I’ve never had a post about Cookie Monster own its own. I guess I can do better because Cookie Monster deserves more. Hope your little ones enjoy coloring these series of Cookie Monster coloring sheets.
My kids are currently on summer break, so I encourage them to spend time doing things that they like. One of the activities my older daughter is so into these days is making baking cakes and cookies. While my older daughter is prepping the dough and baking, I also prepare some cookie coloring sheets for the smaller one.

I’ve posted many coloring pages about Elmo and other Sesame Street characters. Since many of the coloring sheets contain different characters and elements on one page, they may be a little too complex for younger kids. Here are some easier Sesame Street Character and Elmo coloring pages that should be more suitable to toddlers and kids at pre-school page. Hopefully, your little ones will love them. If they find the images a little too easy, they can move up to more complicated coloring pages of Elmo and other Sesame Street characters.
I also have a new post featuring very cute Cookie Monster coloring sheets. Make sure to ask your kids to check them out and see if they want to color any images.
