This post contains 30+ images to teach kids (at preschool and kindergarten ages) about shapes, including shape tracing worksheets, shape counting, shape recognition and coloring pages, and shape writing practice sheets. Kids will learn about naming, recognizing, tracing and coloring basic shapes like circles, squares, rectangles, ovals, diamond (rhombus) and a little harder shapes like star, crescent, pentagon, hexagon, octagon etc.
Although my little daughter is already past the age of learning smaller numbers (from 1 to 10, or 1 to 20), sometimes she still ask me for some coloring-by-numbers printables. Maybe she wanted to remember the time that she started learning numbers, or maybe she just wanted to see where the random arrangement of numbers and color keys can take her.

Valentine’s Day, February 14, is around the corner. It’s not only the day for adults to celebrate and show their love or affection to one another, but also for kids to express their love towards their loved ones and to celebrate their friendship with their friends and classmates.
Every year, during the week of Valentine’s Day, my daughter brings home artworks and greeting cards that she made for us or she received from her friends. It’s fun and meaningful. I hope that with all the crazy things going on out there due to COVID-19, we won’t lose track of time, and now more than ever, we should celebrate Mother’s day together with our loved ones and teach our kids about love, appreciation, respect and family values.
