I hope that with all the crazy things going on out there (due to COVID-19), we won’t lose track of time and that you’ll be able to celebrate father’s day together with your loved ones and teach the kids about love, appreciation, respect and family values. Star Wars – The Last Jedi (also known as Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi) has recently been released – by the end of 2017. The movie is the second part of the Star Wars sequel trilogy and the eighth main installment of the Star Wars series, following Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). While kids (and adults alike) are still feeling excited about the movie, let’s give your kids, especially boys that are into science fiction and fantasy genres, some coloring sheets with the main Star Wars characters, including Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Jedi, Joda, Qui-Gon Jinn, Scout Trooper, Stormtrooper, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren, Boba Fett, R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8 and so on.
I’ve just taken the kids to see the Lion King (2019 film) in the theater. It is a photorealistic computer animated remake of Disney’s traditionally animated 1994 film. Right after that, we watched the Lion King I (the original animation) and the Lion King II – Simba’s Pride at home again, and we had a really great movie day and night! While technology has made the 2019 release feel so real, watching the original animation did have something special, that’s hard to describe.
The kids still have a couple days left until their new school year starts, so I’ve made them some Lion King characters coloring pages, including images of Mufasa, Sarabi, Simba, Nala, Pumbaa, Timon, Rafiki and more. My kids like them and hope yours do, too.
