I’ve just noticed that I’ve never created or posted any practice worksheets for kids, mine included, to learn about days of the week and months of the year. Although my youngest daughter can tell the days and months fluently, she had a hard time spelling the days such as Tuesday, Wednesday, or the months like January and February etc. Now, that’s totally ok and quite expected, I guess I could do something to help.

Cursive A-Z Uppercase Lowercase Tracing Worksheets
I have another post about practice writing the uppercase and lowercase manuscript alphabet, which has been well received and highly rated by parents and teachers alike. Since that post, some have asked me (through the Comments section) to also create handwriting practice sheets for the cursive alphabet forms. It’s a valid request, but until now I’ve had the opportunity to do it.
Coloring by Numbers From 1 to 10
Although my little daughter is already past the age of learning smaller numbers (from 1 to 10, or 1 to 20), sometimes she still ask me for some coloring-by-numbers printables. Maybe she wanted to remember the time that she started learning numbers, or maybe she just wanted to see where the random arrangement of numbers and color keys can take her.
I’ve either collected or created many of the coloring by numbers printables for her a while back and wanted to share them here with you or your little ones. Hope they like it!
Coronavirus and Flu Season Worksheets
I’ve started this post in February 2020, when the COVID-19 pandemic had just started. Since then, a lot has changed from the way we work and interact with one another to the way we go about living our lives, but one thing has not changed yet that is we’re still in the pandemic. Now that winter is here, I’m updating this post to hopefully remind our kids of the simple stuff that can keep them safe and healthy.
First Grade Counting and Math Worksheets
This post contains 30+ basic counting and math sheets for late kindergarten and first grade. The practice sheets are presented using tally-type graphics and the box model, so it’ll be easier and more fun for kid to learn.
If your kid is just starting out with numbers, I’d also recommend these Number Writing Practice Sheets for them. On the other hand, if your kid has already mastered counting and writing number, I’d recommend these Addition and Subtraction Math Worksheets with different levels of difficulty from single-digit to two- or three-digit math problems.
Blank Book Report & Writing Worksheet
Coming from a different country with a different educational background, what has always amazed me is how early kids are exposed to and start reading books on a regular basis overhere. Starting from kindergarten, almost every week, my daughters bring home new books together with the book report worksheets that they need to finish and turn in the week after.
Addition and Subtraction Math Worksheets
I’ve always wanted to create math worksheets for my kids, at least the simple addition and subtraction math problems for them to practice but really didn’t have a chance to work on it. Now that my kids’ schools were shut down due to the coronavirus, and major counties in California (and other states as well) in the U.S. are practicing and enforcing shelter in place policies, we practically can’t go anywhere for the next 3-4 weeks, so I’m feeling a strong need to create the new math worksheets for my kids and to share with you as well.
Hope you find these and other materials useful! Please add comments to let me know how you use them! Best wishes and stay calm and healthy!
