In my series on Learning the Alphabet, I have a couple of posts about easy alphabet coloring pages featuring uppercase or capital letters, including basic letter printables like A is for Apple, B is for Bee, or I is for Igloo etc. coloring pages. Winter is here! My family made a quick trip to Reno and Lake Tahoe right after the new year for the kids to play with snow. It was really fun but we’ve always needed to remind the kids that winter is not only about snow or playing in the snow, but it’s also about keeping themselves well and healthy. Let’s keep them warm by asking them to wear warm clothes and in layers, and have fun with many winter/warm clothes coloring printables and online coloring games.

Star Wars – The Last Jedi (also known as Star Wars: Episode VIII – The Last Jedi) has recently been released – by the end of 2017. The movie is the second part of the Star Wars sequel trilogy and the eighth main installment of the Star Wars series, following Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015). While kids (and adults alike) are still feeling excited about the movie, let’s give your kids, especially boys that are into science fiction and fantasy genres, some coloring sheets with the main Star Wars characters, including Darth Vader, Anakin Skywalker, Luke Skywalker, Jedi, Joda, Qui-Gon Jinn, Scout Trooper, Stormtrooper, Darth Maul, Kylo Ren, Boba Fett, R2-D2, C-3PO, BB-8 and so on.

Search a Word and Coloring Pages

Below you’ll find some new coloring pages that I guess kids at my younger daughter’s age (kindergartener, firstgrader) may like a lot. The game sheets combine different activities all in one page, including word searching, filling out the missing characters and coloring, which help improve kids’ spelling and word identification skills while they’re having fun coloring.

I’ll be adding more of this on a regular basis, so you can come back regularly to check for updates and have new worksheets for your kids to play with.
